Loren Gray

Gray got inspired by friends to begin her online journey. However, she ended up having more success than they did. Loren was so successful with the platform that her mom was able to download it in order to watch her. Loren's successes on musical.ly has also been spread to other social media platforms. Many people started to respond to her music videos, and even making collages from Gray's musical.ly videos on YouTube. Gray was amazed by the attention she received, but many of her acquaintances weren't so happy. Indeed, some of them turned against Gray rather than supporting her. Some of Loren's friends deleted their Facebook profiles to start making fun of her. Loren spoke out in an UPROXX UPROXX: "They'd write awful things, saying that I did not possess talent, that I'm rude, and I've been worked on. I was anorexic with albinism. Some people were saying that they were gonna jump me to the point where I was in the school's bathroom calling my mom telling me I was afraid." Loren's mother became concerned for Loren's mental wellbeing and decided to keep Loren out of the school.
