Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, portrayed Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael has a degree from NIDA. Yael, despite her young years, has had the privilege of learning from Australia's most renowned storytellers. Yael leads a highly professional career that has been a success in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael has relocated from Australia to New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the show was a critical success. Yael founded The Cannery with her co-founders. In a Bushwick Brooklyn studio, they support new artistic writings, and are a source of inspiration for new ideas.
