Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress well known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began during the 1950s in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway productions until she made it huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut music album It's Time for Tina in the same year. Louise began her Hollywood career in 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's little Acre, a dramatic film. It was a huge success and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and became acquainted to Lee Strasberg as his student. Louise joined CBS in 1964 to play Ginger Grant. Louise kept juggling her career with ease across Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as in contrast to the image she was portrayed as an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. She has also established herself as a well-known and respected director of popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. She settled in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
